Andrew Wallington recently ran in the Harold Wood Charity Run. Andrew said "Overall it was a good day, it rained heavily in the morning but we set the Gazebo Up and stall right by the finish Line to give out our waters etc and there were 191 Runners on the day and a lots of spectators including the mayor which was good"
The run was a cross country 5.3 mile run through the local Harold Wood Country Park and Pages Woodland with lots of hills etc. I didn’t train at all but we do a metro football match every Monday evening so I thought that would be enough. I came 37th which wasn't bad out of 191 and done it in 40 mins so with a little training next year I could do a little better..
Well done Andrew
