Over 44 families throughout the country are treasuring golden Disney memories thanks to everyone who has supported our Magic Moments charity this year.
A record 221 people – parents, children went in November to Disneyland Paris. Take a look at the video from the trip...
This years trip was arranged by trustee Lisa Haycock, Lisa also led the 2nd week. She said "The families were amazed and thankful that Magic Moments gave them the opportunity for them to go to Disney. The children didn't want to leave Disney and when we were saying goodbye to the families there were a lot of tears but we know we have made good friends"
Leading the first week's families was fellow trustee Emma Barber, Emma said "I feel truly privileged to have taken 21 amazing families to Disneyland Paris this November, over the days you really do get to know their individual stories and you start to understand how much this trip means to them, it is an opportunity to put the worry of illness and hospitals to one side and enjoy the magic of Disney together as a family and create new memories.
It makes you want to come straight back and do more fundraising to enable more inspirational families to experience the trip.

All Magic Moments supports 12 hospices across the country, regionally positioned throughout the Group’s network. It was the hospices that nominated the families who benefited. Almost a third of the families had already gone through the immense pain of losing their child.
