The July 2019 Summer trip arrangements are in full flow..
We are thrilled to be once again heading to Disneyland Paris in the warmer weather with 13 poorly children and their families. A total of 67 people are due to be joining the trip in the July and the group will include twin boys, a nine month old baby and two recently married couples! Everyone will be staying at the four star Newport Bay Hotel where they’ll be able to take advantage of the outdoor swimming pool (weather permitting!)
Lewis Wren on the charity board is leading the trip and is being supported by Jenny Mansell who works at haart in Torquay and Jimmy Dowling who is one of our Regional Partners covering haart in the north.
This is what Jimmy has to say ahead of the trip..
"So I was delighted to be asked to represent Spicerhaart for the forthcoming Magic Moments trip to Disney Land Paris. I was extremely proud and privileged to have been asked to go on what can only be described as a “Magical trip”.
I can genuinely say Myself and my Wife Susie are really looking forward to seeing the children’s faces light up when they see the likes of Mickey Mouse Donald Duck etc and their huge smiles will mirror mine. I’m a big kid at heart. Also to see the parents having a great time too as well as all the children’s siblings is hugely important and my role is to make sure their trip is one of wonder, happiness and everyone has “HUGE” amounts of fun and it’s a trip of a lifetime.
The only thing I’m nervous about is those bloomin big rollercoasters. I know I’ll have to go on them and I’m scared of heights!!!! However, I will do it!!!!
Really look forward to the 7th of July and meeting all the Children and Parents at St Pancras to take us on what will be a Magical trip.
